Iran headed for UN Security Council? Well...maybe

Apparently the UN is `considering' referring Iran to the Security Council after a forthcoming EU accusation that documents and blueprints were found in Iran's possesion `that could have no other purpose except making nuclear weapons.

The forthcoming statement alludes to a report drawn up for the board meeting by IAEA head Mohamed ElBaradei, including a finding showing the Iranians in possession of what appeared to be drawings of the core of an atomic warhead.

Of course, the EU finessed this with various options, including the scheme Bush and Putin cooked up to have the uranium enriched in Russia. I wouldn't count on the mullahs accepting it.

Unless decisive action is taken- and quickly- the question wil become moot, as Iran is proceeding at a breakneck pace to get its facilities online and the material and delivery systems completed.
