British parliament `Let's Work With Hamas'

A British parliamentary committee is diving to new depths of appeasement, advocating that the Brits engage with Hamas.

"The government should urgently consider ways of engaging politically with moderate elements within Hamas," the all-party group of lawmakers said.

Moderate elements???? Phew!

They also want ex-PM Tony Blair to lead the charge, now that he's the new Mideast envoy.

The parliamentary report also recommended that Britain pressure Palestinian President Arafat II Mahmoud Abbas into negotiations with Hamas to re-establish a national unity government across the Palestinian territories.

The Brits should have no worry on that score. Abbas and Hamas are engaged in negotiations with their fellow terrorists as I write this.

Unfortunately, `engaging' with these people will not have the result these appeasement minded UK legislators are hoping for.

It won't end with Israel and the Jews...it never does.
